Origin · APPA

Where it
all began

Every workshop has a first child. Ours is APPA. The wooly sky-bison from Avatar.

Watch · How we built APPA
  1. 2024Genesis

    APPA ROLLS OUT

Our first mutant. A wooly sky-bison truck inspired by Avatar's APPA. He carried 60 humans across the playa on his maiden burn.

  2. 2025Refit

    Wings, beads, sound

Year two. We rebuilt the upper deck, added rigged sails, and a sound system that doesn't crackle at 3am.

  3. 2026Tuning

    More room for everyone

This season we focused on providing more space for everyone at burn. More fur, same soul, smoother ride.

  4. 2027Next

    A new herd

APPA returns fluffier and better and with fellow mutants by his side!

The Mastermind

Meet Erik

Chief Mutant Officer

Former Helicopter Test Engineer turned desert dreamweaver. Three-time burner. Smart, handy, and unreasonably loving. He is the kind of German guy who'll torque a bolt to spec and then hand you the last beer.

Erik is the spine of Rambazamba Industries. He turns wild whiteboard scribbles into steel that survives the Tankwa.
